Springdale Field Fest 2023

DLCT and DMA Announce Fall Festival “Double Header”

The Dover Land Conservation Trust (DLCT) and The Dover Mothers’ Association (DMA) Announce a Fall Festival “Double Header” on Springdale Field in Dover, on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 from 3pm – 7pm.

The DMA will kick things off with their annual “Family Fun Fest” at 3pm with Good Humor Ice Cream Trucks, Wood Fired Oven Pizza, Face Painting, Bunnies from Powissett Farm and a music performance for the kids from ‘Jammin With You’.

At 5pm DLCT will kick off their yearly Springdale Field Fest, featuring musical performances from Dover’s very own Backwards Hats and Jamie Walker & Friends. Doverites can enjoy local craft beer, pizza, bbq chicken under a 60 x 60 tent with Dover’s best musical talent.

Each year the DLCT has a large 60’ x 60’ canopy tent on hand to provide a fun, dry & warm place to enjoy Springdale Field from, rain or shine. The afternoon of celebration is free of charge and open to the public!

Founded in 1965, DLCT is an independent non-profit funded solely by private donors with a longstanding dedicated focus on preserving and protecting the natural rural character of Dover.

“Protected open space is at the heart of what makes Dover special.  The Land Trust currently protects over 600 of the most precious acres in Dover including the beautiful open meadows at Springdale Field. The Festival is a wonderful way to celebrate the good works of DLCT but also provide a forum for Dover families to enjoy one of Dover’s treasured open public access spaces in Springdale Field.” said DLCT President Tom French.

Springdale Field is located at the corner of Main/Farm and Springdale,  3/4 of a mile NW of town center on Springdale.  On-street parking will be available.
